Pay particular attention to the new gender ratio rule (should be used in league play unless otherwise agreed upon) :
At the start of the game, after the first disc flip, an additional disc flip happens with the winner selecting the gender ratio for the first point. For the second and third points the ratio must be the reverse of the first point. For the fourth and fifth points the ratio must be same as the first point. This pattern of alternating the ratio every two points repeats until the end of the game (half time has no impact on the pattern).
3.2 Amendments
3.2.1 Game lengths: 60 minutes for double-header games; 90 minutes for single-header games
3.2.2 Points/ Caps: Games are to 13 points. For 60 minute games, soft cap is at 50 minutes and hard cap is at 60 minutes. For 90 minute games, soft cap is 75 minutes, hard cap is at 90 minutes. Winner of the game is first to 13 or the team who leads at the close of hard cap.
3.2.3 Gender ratio: Gender equity rule is applied as a standard where a second flip determines the 4-3 gender ratio and the next two points show the opposite 4-3 ratio. This switches every two points. Captain’s clause can alter the new gender ratio rule in the following two ways:
Offense shows and defence matches (4-3 options only)
4-3 same gender ratio throughout the entire game
Teams may never go 5-2
Teams who are unable to provide a 4-3 ratio must forfeit the match
